WEATHER IN GUARDALAVACA
Guardalavaca experiences a subtropical climate with high temperatures and plenty of year-round sunshine. The resort enjoys an average annual temperature of 29C, and, due to its easterly position, sees warmer weather than areas on the west coast.
The best time to visit Guardalavaca is during the British winter, when the weather is hot and dry, and humidity levels are at their lowest. December to April is the peak tourist season when temperatures hover around 27C – 28C and the resort sees 6 – 8 hours of sunshine. Water temperatures in Guardalavaca remain around 25C – 26C during this time, ideal for swimming and water sports. Winter also sees the driest weather, with the period from January to April receiving the least amount of rain.
Humidity increases in June, staying high until the end of September. Summer temperatures reach 32C, with 7 – 8 hours of sunshine each day, and there is more rain during this time.
